This will show a bunch of user-made content, which you can react to from your own account.

Once you log in, you'll find new updates on the homepage but you can also connect with the rest of the Rockstar community by navigating to the ' Photos' or ' Videos' tab. In it, you can track events coming to the game, look at your own stats, and even check your own achievements. It's accessible on your phone or desktop and lets you get updated with everything that's new. If anyone can expand, exchange, enhance, rebut or refute anything on this subject your input is welcome & appreciatedEssentially, the GTA 5 Social Club is somewhere between a stat tracker and a Rockstar exclusive social media site. So to date that's where I'm at on this subject as I now wait for the trainer update (hopefully the last F-ing time). I'm not sure exactly how or if possible to create a shortcut for the cmd execution SO I just created a notepad file on the desktop with the 2 commands so I can just paste them into cmd line 1 at a time. THIS WILL NOT HELP THOSE WITHOUT INTERNET ACCESS (& I think that F-ing sucks too). Then click enter and your game should start in story modeġst time the social club login screen had different options & I logged into game without being online (no checking for DLs) BUT the next time I logged in (same method) I got a message saying I hadn't logged in or out last session or something & indicated I'd have to log in online before it would resume my request to start game so I logged in NOT using the edit launcher method (online) then quit game and yes next time I tried the cmd prompt method it worked offline again SO I believe (hope) if you log in online and it wants to update just cancel before downloads complete it 'should' allow the next offline attempt to go through error free (fingers X-ed) so you can play while waiting for new Script Hook V version. Story Mode PC (only).ġst Open the cmd (command) console as administrator and type:Ĭd c:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V

Instructions for game start without being online i.e. I have a retail DVD version (PC) GTA V (no steam) and was having trouble with these instructions & getting the same errors as many others and having the same unsuccessful results HOWEVER I found a different way of doing what ever it is we're supposed to be doing (on another site) I agree 100% with original post.WTF Rockfarts? Sell me a damn story mode only version if ur that cheap.
